Workshops
Some activities will be available every week, others would be dependent on staff or weather.
Activities
- Storytelling & theatre in story centre; local myth and legends about nature secrets; and dreams
- Playing at/in the river
- Assisting in farming activities: gardening, caring for animals (Sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens)
- Collage making
- Physical games (Skipping, Treasure hunts, Races, etc.)
- Arts: drawing and painting
- Hiking to the rivers, rocks and wild forest
- African stories & music (djembe/rhythm) workshops
- Model construction with Meccano
- Conversation workshop: teaching English to Polish speakers, and Polish to migrants
- Handicrafts: felting, herbal potions and ointments
- Little library of English books
Practical
- Every Week; hosts include Iwona, Michael, Peter, and Mathilde.
- In bad/cold weather activities are inside in heated spaces.
- Bring with you: suitable clothes/shoes, lunch/drinks.
- Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate.
- We do not ask for money, but we ask that parents share with us according to their abilities. You could contribute by giving a workshop, translating, baking a cake, bringing fruit or drinks, or supplying materials for handicrafts.
- Please let us know if transport is a problem – we will organise something 🙂
